ARTIST BIO

From Dump Trucks, to stilettos, to rolling paddocks to #mumlife – Gemma has walked it all. Gem is a stunning country music performer and the last 10 years have defined her success within the Australian music Industry. Although there were so many highs, including being handpicked as the support act for ADAM BRAND’S Tour, her greatest achievement and biggest challenge was becoming a mother and settling on her farm in Maleny, Queensland.

Life sure has changed from working FIFO in the coal mines and travelling the country performing on days off and her direction and vision for her music career has grown with it. In 2021 she is launching her project Salon Session across the nation and inviting intimate audiences to experience Gemma’s new sound in an environment that’s full of fun, sparkle and re-creation. The first year will see Salon Sessions in Western Australia, Northern Territory, & Queensland.

To keep with the family feel of this tour Gemma has also welcomed her 10 year old daughter and a couple of her school friends on the road to bring the Country Kids Show to audiences that prefer the more comical side. So whether you are just a big kid or need to entertain your children to get a few minutes peace, bring them along to one of the Country Kids Shows.

And not to forget, Gemma is still rocking with her controversial country shows and still wears the title of the queen of saying things she shouldn’t! Gemma has opened for Jimmy Barnes, Shannon Noll and has been featured in national media such as New Idea, The Morning Show, The Australian, The Courier Mail and more.

Her debut single “Fallen Soldier” from her debut album “Semi-Precious” released in 2015 and recorded with award winning Producer - Matt Fell, remained in the top 40 CMC video charts for a staggering 15 weeks. The same video saw her gain recognition as a finalist in the 2016 People’s Choice Awards. “Coal Train”, the second single from Gemma’s debut album “Semi-Precious” generated a string of country and mainstream media interest – featuring a LIVE interview on Channel 7’s The Daily Edition, and in QLD music media The Music and SceneStr magazine.

She has also tried her part in reality television and filmed for the PRIME TIME television show “This Time Next Year” and has appeared on other shows such as SBS Insight as a panelled guest. Gemma is currently confidentially filming for another prime time TV show to air mid 2020 on Channel 9.

Gemma has a new single ready to drop in celebration of new music hitting the scene in early 2021. Her sound has differed from her previously released album but she has not lost her edge! The new single “NEVER LOVED AT ALL” is due out in May 2021.
